Help Us Kickstart Our New Album!

October 10, 2009

Dear Friends of Pinataland,

First off, thanks for supporting us! Whether it’s been for a decade or just a few months, we love making this music for you.

Right now we’re planning our next album, tentatively titled “Boy Scouts of Democracy”. It’s the third (and perhaps final) record in our trilogy of history-themed albums, and we think it’s going to be the best. We’d like to record this winter and have the record ready for you in late spring 2010.

This is where you come in. If you’re at all interested in this record becoming a reality, please go to Kickstarter and consider helping us fund the project. We’re not just asking for a handout, we’re offering some fun ways for you to be involved with us. Donations will get you everything from downloads of the new record, to us helping you with your songs, all the way to us performing in your own home!

We’re aiming to make $3,000 over the next 3 months. Even if you aren’t able to participate, if you know anyone who likes our music, please forward this message.

Thanks so much,

Doug, Dave, Robin and Bill

Barbes October 9th

September 26, 2009

We’ll be at Barbes on October 9th at 10pm following the one of our favorite bands Life in a Blender at 9pm. Sadly Robin Aigner won’t be singing with me at this show (she’ll be on a solo tour) but violinist Deni Bonet will be stepping up for some hollerin’. Bill Gerstel, Gerald Menke, and One Ring Zero’s Josh Camp will be on board for what promises to be a really fun show.
